COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After an exciting performance on Saturday, Tennessee Tech freshman LaReesha Cawthorn will talk about her experience as she joins Golden Eagle women's basketball head coach Kim Rosamond and her staff at this week's Legacy Club meeting.
The event will be held Monday night in the Hooper Eblen Center's Eagles Nest, starting at 5:30 PM. This session will be open to the public.
In addition to the meet and greet with Cawthorn to celebrate her dominant performance, Rosamond will talk about the latest about Tennessee Tech women's basketball as it builds toward its success, both this season and beyond.
Cawthorn posted a career night on Saturday as she scored 27 points and pulled down 27 rebounds in a thrilling 75-70 overtime victory against Eastern Illinois. The 27 rebounds ranks in a tie for fourth all-time in program history with Pam Cassity against Middle Tennessee in the 1975-76 campaign, and was the most by an Ohio Valley Conference player since Southeast Missouri's Lachelle Lyles had 32 against Tennessee State in 2006.
The Golden Eagles are on the road this week as they take on Morehead State on Thursday, then Southern Indiana on Saturday. Tech then returns home the following week for its final two home games of the campaign on Feb. 19 against SIUE and Feb. 21 against Lindenwood.
For tickets to those final two contests, call (931) 372-3940, visit the Eblen Center ticket office or order online at TTUsports.com.
