New American flag will hang in Tech's Elen Center
The Tennessee Tech Army ROTC has donated a new American flag to hang in Hooper Eblen Center, replacing an older flag that had become worn and dirty with age.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech Army ROTC has donated a
new American flag to hang in Hooper Eblen Center, replacing an
older flag that had become worn and dirty with age.
The new flag was presented recently by Lt. Col. Steve McMillan
to Mark Wilson, TTU Director of Athletics, during halftime of a
basketball doubleheader. It was unfolded and displayed by the Tech
cheerleaders.
Hooper Eblen Center is the site of a variety of events on campus, including basketball games and volleyball matches, concerts and graduation ceremonies.
