Maxwell Finishes Third at Bluegrass Invitational
Tennessee Tech turned in a solid showing against a competitive field at the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational, finishing sixth overall with a three-round total of 900 (+48) at the University Club of Kentucky.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Tennessee Tech turned in a solid showing against a competitive field at the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational, finishing sixth overall with a three-round total of 900 (+48) at the University Club of Kentucky.
The Golden Eagles posted rounds of 299, 300, and 301 to secure a top-half finish in a strong 16-team field, led by host Kentucky, which claimed the team title at 858 (-3).
Haden Maxwell paced Tennessee Tech with an impressive third-place finish at 214 (+1), using a second-round 69 (-2) to stay in contention throughout the tournament.
Nick Etherton added a key performance for the Golden Eagles, tying for 23rd overall at 223 (+10). Bryson White followed in a tie for 45th at 229 (+16), while Cooper Gettler placed tied for 67th at 234 (+21). Matthew Shull rounded out the lineup in 86th at 241 (+28).
Tennessee Tech maintained consistency across all three rounds and finished just one stroke behind Evansville in the final standings.
