Haden Maxwell Named OVC Co-Golfer of the Week
Haden Maxwell has been named OVC Co-Golfer of the Week for the third time this season, as announced today by the conference.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech men's golfer Haden Maxwell has been named OVC Co-Golfer of the Week for the third time this season, as announced today by the conference.
Haden Maxwell was outstanding for the third straight tournament, finishing second at The Scrappy at Cobblestone. He shot an even par 71-68-74 (213, E) following three rounds of very competitive golf in Acworth, Georgia. It marks the third conference honor of the season for Maxwell. He earned a share of the weekly honor with Ed Featherstone of Little Rock, who also finished runner-up at the Everett Buick GMC Classic after carding rounds of 68-66-69 (203, -13).
Maxwell finished as the runner-up at The Scrappy at Cobblestone, hosted by Kennesaw State in Acworth, Georgia. The senior had rounds of 71-68-74 to finish at 213 (even) in the field of 63; he was two shots behind the medalist. He helped TTU finish third in the 11-team field, which included two other OVC squads. His 69.8 stroke average leads the OVC at this point of the season.
He earns a share of the conference Golfer of the Week honor for the second time after posting rounds of 71, 68, and 74. Maxwell finished with the second-best average on Par 4s (4.07) and led the field with 13 birdies in 54 holes.
Maxwell was named OVC Golfer of the Month following an outstanding September, when he won two of three tournaments played. He's off to another outstanding start to October with a second-place finish in The Scrappy at Cobblestone.
