PADUCAH, Ky. & NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fresh off a Fourth in the Austin Peay Intercollegiate, the Tennessee Tech men's golf team will be in action at the Racer Intercollegiate and individuals at the TSU Big Blue Invitational beginning Monday.
The Golden Eagles send the starting five to the Racer Intercollegiate to compete at the CC of Paducah against host Murray State and a solid field including OVC rivals SIUE, UT Martin, Morehead State, Lindenwood, USI, and Eastern Illinois.
"After a solid showing at Austin Peay and a couple of weeks of qualifying, we are ready to get back after it in Paducah. The course is an excellent challenge that these young men are up for, and we look forward to competing in a very strong field." - Head Coach Polk Brown
Haden Maxwell led the charge for another tournament, finishing third at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate a week ago. Maxwell lit up the course, shooting seven under for the 36-hole tournament, leading Tech to one under as a team and fourth place.
For his solid performance, Maxwell earned OVC Golfer of the Month for the third time during the 2025-26 campaign. He has finished in the Top 5 six times, Top 10 six times, and Top 20 seven times.
Maxwell's overall average of 70.6 is second in the conference through 24 rounds this year.
The men's team has not finished outside the Top 10 in any tournament this season, with a pair of second-place finishes at The Carolina Cup and Xavier Invitational.
