Tech Finishes Tied for Sixth at Golfweek Fall Challenge
Tennessee Tech men’s golf finished tied for sixth after closing with a four-over-par in the final round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at True Blue Golf Course in Pawleys Island, S.C.

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – Tennessee Tech men's golf finished tied for sixth after closing with a four-over-par in the final round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at True Blue Golf Course in Pawleys Island, S.C.
The Golden Eagles carded a final round four over to drop four spots and finish tied for sixth with Central Arkansas (-12). Nick Etherton finished tied for 11th with a seven-under final score, after posting a one under (71) during the third round today.
Haden Maxwell finished five under for the tournament to tie for 16th, after carding a one under (71) during the final round. Cooper Gettler finished tied for 28th after recording a three-under score. He found a little bit of trouble during the final round, shooting a four over 76 over the last 18 holes.
Tennessee Tech recorded 61 birdies as a team alongside 158 pars. The Golden Eagles were outstanding (-22) on par fives (4.71), which was second among the field. Matt Shull, competing as an individual, finished eight under on par fives, marking the second-best score in the tournament on those holes.
Alex Broyles finished tied for 54th after shooting a final round 75 and closing at four over. Drew Bolton finished tied for 69th after a closing 75 to finish 10 over.
