Maxwell Wins Grover Page Classic, Tech Finishes Third
Haden Maxwell earned his second-career win shooting 10 under during the final two rounds and 11 under to grab the individual title at the Grover Page Classic. The Golden Eagles shot 20 under to finish third.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Haden Maxwell earned his second-career win, shooting 10 under during the final two rounds and 11 under to grab the individual title at the Grover Page Classic. The Golden Eagles shot 20 under to finish in third place.
Maxwell grabbed his second-career individual victory with an 11-under score to help lift the Golden Eagles to a third-place finish (-19) in the event. Maxwell finished strong, shooting 65 during round two and 67 during round three to grab the lead and never let go. He made five birdies during the final 18 holes, only running into trouble with a bogey once on 17, and closing the door. He finished with 17 birdies over three rounds of action.
Maxwell's 65 in the second round was the lowest round of his career, surpassing his 66 during the 2023-24 season. The 67 in round three was his second-lowest round of his collegiate career.
He has earned a victory in back-to-back seasons, after grabbing his first-career win in 2024 during the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tenn.
Nick Etherton finished second on the team and 13th overall with a five-under, closing with a 68 today that included three birdies and no bogeys. That marks the second straight top 15 finish for Etherton to start the 2025 campaign.
Drew Bolton fired off a second-round 69, marking the lowest round of his collegiate career. He finished 23rd with a three under score.

Tech moved up two spots on the final day, advancing from fifth following rounds 1 and 2 yesterday to third on the final day of action.
