Golden Eagles head north for Rocket Classic at Catawba Island
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team keeps the fall campaign rolling with a trek north to Port Clinton, Ohio for Toledo's Rocket Classic on Monday and Tuesday at the Catawba Island Club.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team keeps the fall campaign rolling with a trek north to Port Clinton, Ohio for Toledo's Rocket Classic on Monday and Tuesday at the Catawba Island Club.
ROCKET CLASSIC: Sept. 30-Oct. 1, 2024 – 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 5,979-yard Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio. Play will feature 36 holes of continuous play on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Play will open with an 8:00 a.m CT shotgun start on Monday.

THE COMPETITION: The 10-team field consists of host Toledo, as well as Akron, Bethune-Cookman, Central Michigan, Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, Le Moyne, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Tennessee Tech.
THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH AMANDA SMITH: "It's great to get up to Catawba Island. They do such a fine job hosting an event and the course always sets up well for a women's tournament. This team is hungry and wants to show what they are made of. We are excited to play hard and grow as a team."
