Golden Eagles face tough task with three matches at Ball State Tourney
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Five Golden Eagle players are heading home
to Indiana, including two who will be playing in their hometown,
when the Tennessee Tech volleyball team plays three tough matches
this weekend at the Ball State Invitational in Muncie, Ind.
Senior Kappy Lang and junior Teresa Craig will be back in Muncie,
where the pair helped Burris High School on its way to being
declared national champions during Lang's senior season. Also
playing in their home state will be junior Katie Kenline from
Ossain, sophomores Melanie Culp from Indianapolis, and Marie
Peddicord from Columbus.
Tech (1-2) faces Purdue Friday evening at 6:30 p.m., then meets
Ball State and Southern Illinois-Carbondale on Saturday. The Ball
State match is set for 11:30 a.m. CDT, while the match with SIU is
at 4 p.m. CDT.
