Sean Reilly named OVC Player of the Week
Tennessee Tech outfielder Sean Reilly, a junior from Scottsdale, Ariz., has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech outfielder Sean Reilly, a
junior from Scottsdale, Ariz., has been named the Ohio Valley
Conference Player of the Week.
Reilly hit safely in all four of Tech's games last week. Reilly
batted .571 (8-for-14) with seven runs scored, two doubles, a
triple and seven RBI as the Golden Eagles went 3-1 last week. He
picked up a hit and scored a run at No. 13 Alabama, helping
Tennessee Tech top the Crimson Tide, 8-6. Reilly went 3-for-5 in
game three versus Bradley, finishing the series with a .636 batting
average (7-for-11). Reilly recorded a .857 slugging percentage for
the week as well as a .686 on-base percentage.

The Golden Eagles (9-6) return to the field Tuesday as they travel
to Johnson City to take on the East Tennessee State Buccaneers at 5
p.m. (CDT).
