Purple and gold close out regular season at second OVC Weekend
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team completes the 2025 regular season with a trip to Morehead, Ky., for the second weekend of Ohio Valley Conference action on the campus of Morehead State on Friday and Saturday.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team completes the 2025 regular season with a trip to Morehead, Ky., for the second weekend of Ohio Valley Conference action on the campus of Morehead State on Friday and Saturday.
The Golden Eagles open their final week of action before the OVC Tournament next week with an early test against in-state rival Chattanooga at 7:00 a.m. CT, before taking on Lindenwood at 11:00 a.m. Saturday opens for the purple and gold with a 9:00 a.m. tilt with Eastern Illinois and concludes at 3:00 p.m. with a match-up against in-state foe UT Martin.
The lineup will feature some familiarity, with each of the team's top three pairings from last week's Blazer Beach Bash. At the No. 1 slot, redshirt sophomore Jordan Karlen and senior Bella Powell will look to set the tone for the purple and gold.
Competing for Tech in the No. 2 spot, senior Brooke Amann and freshman Alayna Pierce will attempt to build off the win the duo picked up in Tech's 4-1 loss to Missouri State last weekend. Joining together at the No. 3 position, senior Aleeya Jones and sophomore MK Roberts will duel as partners for at least the 17th time this season.
Moving up from the No. 5 slot to No. 4 for the weekend are senior Emma Pabon and sophomore Ava Schubert. Sliding from last week's No. 4 role to the No. 5 position are seniors Jazmine Yamilkoski and McKenaa Young. Serving as Tech's alternate duo for the weekend are freshman Katie Green and senior Elena Wallace.
