Golden Eagles head to Martin for first OVC weekend

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team will head west for the first of two Ohio Valley Conference weekends of competition, visiting Martin, Tenn. for four sets of duals across Friday and Saturday.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team will head west for the first of two Ohio Valley Conference weekends of competition, visiting Martin, Tenn. for four sets of duals across Friday and Saturday.

The Golden Eagles kick off league play Friday morning with an 8:00 a.m. CT affair with Lindenwood before clashing with Chattanooga in a 12:00 p.m. tilt. Saturday will feature a 12:00 p.m. match-up against Eastern Illinois while a 6:00 p.m. clash with host UT Martin will close the weekend.

Leading the purple and gold at the No. 1 position for the first OVC dual of the year are senior Bella Powell and freshman Alayna Pierce, the fourth straight match together for the duo. Also competing together for the fourth consecutive tilt, senior Brooke Amann and redshirt sophomore Jordan Karlen will lock down the No. 2 slot.

Representing the No. 3 pairing for the Cookeville crew, senior Aleeya Jones and sophomore MK Roberts will team up for the seventh time on the year. Competing in the No. 4 duals for the fifth time together this season are senior Ella Wallace and rookie Bella Lineberger.

Rocking the No. 5 spot for the Golden Eagles, senior Jazmine Yamilkoski and McKenna Young will pair up for the first time this season. Lined up as Tech's alternate pairing are sophomores Ayanna Rodgers and Ava Schubert.
