Personal-bests highlight the OVC Indoor Championships
NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Tech track & field team finished the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championship meet on Saturday in the same type of fashion as they did most of the indoor season, setting personal-bests.

Senior Meghan O'Donoghue ran a career-best 11:37.28 in the 3000 meter race. She was joined in the 3000 by Rebecca Cline, who ran 11:03.09, and Amelia McCoy, who ran 12:10.23.
On Friday, Atlanta Westbrook for the third-straight meet set a personal-best. Westbrook first hit a PR time of 1:01.76 in the 400-meter dash. Joining her in the 400 with a new career-best was Tiara Hymon who ran 1:03.49.
Brittany McGee led the way for the sprinters, running her best 55-meter dash race with a time of 7.81. She also improved her personal mark in the 200-meter race with a time of 27.99.
Freshman Rebeca Duarte also set two new marks. In the 55-meter hurdles, Duarte ran a personal-best 9.90 and then cleared a PR mark of 17-00.75 in the long jump (photo above).
Capping off the the individual records, senior Erin Keyes cleared 5-03 in the high jump. Keyes' previous best was just 5-00.25, improving her height by almost three inches.
The Golden Eagles will begin the outdoor season and will return to comptetion on March 15 at Jacksonville State.
