COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Less than a week after the Tennessee Tech volleyball team and head coach Jeannette Phillips celebrated eight members of the squad with Senior Day festivities, the Golden Eagles announced the signing of one of the largest classes of freshmen in the history of the program.
The purple and gold is set to welcome seven fresh faces to Cookeville for the 2025 season, including liberos Caroline Fruge, Brooklyn Rapp, and Ella Watford, middle blockers Tuva Falk and Jordyn Milhouse, right side Sarah Noto, and outside hitter Eryn Spradley.
"This is the biggest recruiting class we have brought into Tech, but due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we had two classes morphing together and our graduating class is sizeable this year," Phillips explained. The talent level is also very sizeable in this 2025 class. They know they have some big shoes to fill and they are ready for the challenge. This class is all very passionate about Tech and the buy-in from them is already so high, that the sky really is the limit."
Over the next few days, we'll be taking a closer look at each of the newest members of the Golden Eagle volleyball family. Today, we take a look at Alexandria, Ala. native Eryn Spradley.

Spradley was a four-year letterwinner as an outside hitter for head coach Whitney Welch at Alexandria High School in Alexandria, Ala. In her time at AHS, she helped lead the team to a trio of county championships, three area titles, and a pair of North Alabama Super Regional crowns.
Named to the AVCA's All-American Watch List as a senior, she took home All-County Tournament MVP honors and her fourth consecutive appearance on the All-County Tournament Team. A three-time member of the All-County Team and the All-County MVP, she earned All-State First Team accolades as both a junior and senior.
During her junior campaign, Spradley racked up 614 kills, 100 digs, and 90 blocks. She followed it up with 521 terminations, 128 scoops, and 49 rejections as a senior. For her career, the youngster recorded more than 1,500 kills, 230 digs, and 135 blocks.
"Eryn is going to be a lot of fun; we can tell that already," Phillips expressed. "She carries herself in a humble way, but when she steps onto the court, she will be a force to be reckoned with. Eryn brings an ability to play a physical game right away and we are excited to see her grow through her game with us."
