Golden Eagle game at No. 1 Kansas available on ESPN Full Court
Exactly two weeks into the 2009-10 basketball season, the Tennessee Tech mens basketball team will visit the No. 1 ranked team in the country, the Kansas Jayhawks, and Golden Eagle fans all over the country can catch the action.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Exactly two weeks into the 2009-10
basketball season, the Tennessee Tech men’s basketball team
will visit the No. 1 ranked team in the country, the Kansas
Jayhawks, and Golden Eagle fans all over the country can catch the
action.
Tech will visit historic Allen Fieldhouse to take on KU on Friday,
Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. ESPN Full Court announced it has picked up the
Jayhawk TV Network’s broadcast of the game. Fans will be able
to access the game through direct TV or most cable systems.
“It will be great to play in front of a TV audience in what
is essentially the birthplace of college basketball,” TTU
head coach Mike Sutton said.
In addition to the Golden Eagles and Jayhawks being televised on
ESPN Full Court, Tech will appear on ESPNU on Jan. 14 when they
visit UT Martin, as well as the semi-finals and finals of the OVC
tournament on March 5 and 6.
WCTE-TV will regionally broadcast five Tech home games throughout
the season starting Jan. 7 against Morehead State, along with games
Jan. 21 against Austin Peay, Jan. 23 against Tennessee State, Feb.
11 against Murray State and Feb. 13 against UT Martin.
All of Tech’s home games along with their road OVC contests
will be streamed live on OVCsports.com.
