Tech baseball team OVC Tournament bound, takes on Morehead State Wednesday at 1 p.m.
For the 18the time in program history, and fourth year in-a-row, the Tennessee Tech baseball team is bound for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. The Golden Eagles are set to compete in the five-day event beginning Wednesday, May 25, matching up with Morehead State in a 1 p.m. CT tilt.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – For the 18the time in program history, and fourth year in-a-row, the Tennessee Tech baseball team is bound for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. The Golden Eagles are set to compete in the five-day event beginning Wednesday, May 25, matching up with Morehead State in a 1 p.m. CT tilt.
The Golden Eagles, which enter the tournament as the No. 5 seed, will square off against the No. 4 seeded Eagles in the first contest of the event at the Ballpark in Jackson in Jackson, Tenn. Fans are encouraged to attend and stop by the TTU Championship Tailgate are located near the entrance to the ballpark.
Fans can follow the action all week via live stream on the OVC Digital Network or on the radio, with Dylan Vazzano on call on 106.1 The Eagle. Live stats will also be available for each contest. Links to all three options, as well as directions and a link to purchase tickets, can be found on TTUSports.com under the baseball schedule.
The Tech squad enters the tournament as one of the hottest teams in the league, having won 10 of its past 13 contests, and each of its four contests last week. The Golden Eagles won their third consecutive OVC series last weekend, completing a three-game sweep of Eastern Kentucky to claim the No. 5 seed in the tournament.
Morehead State did just enough to avoid slipping past the No. 4 seed coming into the tournament, collecting one victory over Murray State in the teams' three-game series over the weekend. The Eagles, who represent the defending OVC Tournament champions, have lost three of their past four contests after sweeping No. 2 seed Jacksonville State the weekend prior.
