Tech Beach travels to APSU Classic
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – After a week against Ohio Valley Conference action, the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team heads back into action as the Golden Eagles head to Clarksville for the APSU Classic at Austin Peay. Tech takes on McKendree at 8 AM and Central Arkansas at 1 PM on Friday, then face Texas A&M Kingsville at 10 AM and host Austin Peay at 4 PM.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – After a week against Ohio Valley Conference action, the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team heads back into action as the Golden Eagles head to Clarksville for the APSU Classic at Austin Peay.
Tech takes on McKendree at 8 AM and Central Arkansas at 1 PM on Friday, then face Texas A&M Kingsville at 10 AM and host Austin Peay at 4 PM.
McKendree enters the weekend with a 5-6 overall record, winning its last five matches. The Bearcats went 4-0 at the Hawaii Tournament with two wins over Chaminade and two wins over Hawaii Pacific. McKendree then defeated Southwest Baptist 4-1 in its last match on March 28.
Central Arkansas comes to Clarksville with a 7-12 record overall, going 3-1 at its Spring Break Invitational tournament on March 20 and 21, beating Mary Hardin Baylor with two 4-1 results and a 5-0 win over Southwest Baptist. The Bears fell 4-1 to UT Martin.
Texas A&M Kingsville has a 15-4 record with the Javelinas' last action coming at the Central Arkansas Spring Break Invitational. TAMK fell to UT Martin 4-1 then beat the Skyhawks 3-2. The Javelinas then defeated Southwest Baptist twice
Austin Peay holds a 9-14 record entering the weekend after going 2-2 last weekend at the Shoals Beach Bash, hosted by North Alabama. The Governors defeated Tusculum and Spring Hill 4-1, fell to Eastern Kentucky 3-2, then dropped a 5-0 match to the host Lions.
The Golden Eagles stand at 2-17 after going 0-4 last week at Chattanooga for the first of two OVC Play Day weekends, falling 5-0 to the host Mocs, Eastern Illinois and UT Martin, while dropping a 4-1 result to Lindenwood.
