High School: Mills lettered at Van Buren County High School in Spencer, Tenn. for head coach Dustin Sullivan… averaged 29 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior… won the 2018 TSSAA Class A Mr. Basketball award as the top player in the state… named All-State three times and earned district MVP honors three times… helped Van Buren County claim four straight district championships, three region titles and three bids into the state tournament, including a final four appearance… averaged 26 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists as a junior and 23 points, eight rebounds and 2.3 assists as a sophomore… became just the 22nd boys basketball player in TSSAA history to accumulate at least 3,000 points in a career, finishing as Van Buren County’s all-time leading scorer with 3,166 points… as a senior, dropped 48 points in a win over Richard Hardy Memorial and posted 42 points and eight rebounds against Clay County High School… recorded a double-double with 40 points and 12 rebounds against Cookeville High School as a senior… graduated in top-five in his class.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team returns home after kicking off the 2018-19 campaign at Memphis on Tuesday, hosting Presbyterian in the home opener on Saturday, Nov. 10 against Presbyterian. The first time the two programs will meet, tip is scheduled for a 6 p.m. CT start and will follow the Golden Eagle volleyball team's final home contest of the season (2 p.m. start).

Golden Eagles kick off 2018-19 campaign at Memphis

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team will officially kick off the 2018-19 season Tuesday evening, making a trip west to take on in-state Memphis for the first time since 2009. Tip is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT and will feature a match-up between the eighth-year head man of the Golden Eagles, Steve Payne, and the first-time head coach of the Tigers, Penny Hardaway.
