Bio
Hunter should move into the starting spot at left tackle in his
second season on the roster...gained valuable experience as a true
freshman...has excellent quickness and a real love for the
game...great student of the game who understands the system and his
role in it...a hard worker...good strength.
AT TECH (In 2009): Hunter played in all 11 games
in 2009 in a backup role at left tackle as a true freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hunter played both offensive and
defensive tackle at Sullivan South High School...named Class 4-A
All-State by the Tennessee Sportswriters Association, and earned
Northeast Tennessee first-team offense and second-team defense
honors...selected the Mountain Lakes Conference Lineman of the
Year, he was also picked for the Times-News Northeast
Tennessee/Southwest Virginia Elite Team...a Tennessee Football
Magazine East Tennessee Player of the Year finalist, and chosen for
the National Guard Border Bowl All-Star Game...three-year starter,
he was team captain as a senior and chosen the Tri-Cities Charter
Business Player of the Week...rated two-star by Scout.com/Scout.com
Atlanta All-Combine Team, Hunter was a National Technical Honor
Society/Tennessee-Virginia Scholar.
