work on his quickness...also continuing to mold his skills to the
TTU system...goes into fall as the starter...has placed his name at
or near the top of numerous school records, and should eclipse
several marks in his final campaign...has 11 games in his career
with 200-yard passing or more...ranks second all-time in passing
yards (5,389) and total offense (5,186)...has started 30 games for
the Golden Eagles...a good athlete capable of moving the offense
efficiently...great arm strength...OVC Freshman of the Year in
2006, he has the potential to be among the league's premiere
offensive players in 2009...came to Tech prior to the 2006 spring
drills, transferring from Louisville where he was a redshirt during
the 2005 season.

AT TECH (In 2008): Lee started and played in 11 of
12 games, missing the entire contest at Western Michigan...had
three 200-yard passing games, topped by 324 yards and three
touchdowns at Austin Peay...had season-highs at APSU of 25
completions and 42 attempts...threw for 229 yards in a win at
Southeast Missouri, and 219 yards against Eastern Illinois...had
passing rating of 197.31 in victory over Central Methodist, going
6-for-11 for 156 yards and two scores......ranked eighth in the OVC
in total offense with 1,548 yards, averaging 140.7 yards per
game...was 10th in the league in total offense touchdowns with 11,
rushing for two and throwing for nine...as a passer, he also ranked
eighth with 149.5 yards per game, going 160-for-267 for 1,644
yards...ninth in pass efficiency and sixth in attempts and seventh
in completions...
(In 2007): Lee was off to a great start in his
sophomore season, before a knee injury in the fourth game of the
year sidelined him for three games...returned for the final four
games but was playing with limited mobility...finished the year
passing for 1,453 yards and 10 touchdowns, connecting on 60.6
percent of his tosses (126-for-208)...despite missing three games,
he still ranked eighth in the OVC in total passing yards, sixth in
pass attempts and tied for fourth in touchdowns...had a 126.47 QB
rating...passed for 302 yards and two touchdowns in the opener at
Eastern Illinois, hitting 28-for-41...threw for 214 yards and two
scores against Cumberland...was 8-for-11 for 79 yards and one TD in
the first quarter against Murray State...was tackled awkwardly
after releasing a pass, injuring his knee...didn't return to action
for a month, seeing limited playing time and mobility at
Jacksonville State...went 24-for-35 for 367 yards and three scores
against Samford...passed for 168 against Auburn, hitting
19-for-26.
(In 2006): Lee rose to number one on Tech's depth
chart...as a redshirt freshman, he led the OVC in passing with
2,292 yards and also ranked first in the league in total
offense...had the fourth-highest single-season passing total in
school history...his 17 touchdowns and 189 completions (in 356
attempts) earned him all-OVC second-team honors as well as OVC
Freshman of the Year...his best game came against Southeast
Missouri when he set school records for passing yards with 437 and
attempts with 57...he had a strong game at Tennessee State when he
went 28-for-50 with 305 yards passing and three touchdowns...his
long ball of the year was a 57-yard strike to Jarrod Houston versus
Murray State...named OVC Freshman of the Week three times during
the year, then capped the season as the OVC Offensive Player of the
Week following his game-winning efforts at Southeast
Missouri...topped the 200-yard mark passing against five different
opponents (Gardner-Webb, Murray State, Tennessee State, Samford and
SEMO).
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year starter at Friendship
Christian High School...threw for 5,173 yards in two seasons as the
starter...completed 63.2 percent of his throws as a senior,
completing 174-of-275 passes for 2,819 yards and 30
touchdowns...only three interceptions...named as a finalist for
Tennessee’s Mr. Football...led the state in
passing...selected Region MVP and a two-time first-team all-region
winner...also named Offensive Player of the Year...guided the team
to an 11-2 record...threw for 2,354 yards and 21 touchdowns as a
junior...three-year starter on the baseball team...recorded a 22-2
record as a pitcher.
