Malcolm was bumped into the starting role in 2008 because of
injuries, and took full advantage of his opportunity...proved to be
a solid contributor, starting six games, and comes into his second
season projected as the starter at center...could prove to be a
four-year starter at his position...still developing his strength
and footwork...hopes to make strides during the summer...good
understanding of his role within the system.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter at Princeton
High School in Cincinnati under coach Bill Leach...proved to be
extremely versatile, playing every position in the offensive
line...for the past two years, he has not allowed a single
quarterback sack and as a senior he was credited with 37 pancake
blocks...invited to participate in the Prep-Star All-American
Combine in Los Angeles...team captain...also lettered two years on
the track & field team, competing in shot put.
