An outside linebacker who made a career of being around the football while at Thompson High School, Marcus finished his career with 530 total tackles and 20 quarterback sacks, and also forced 10 fumbles...as a senior, he was an All-Region selection and named the All-County Iron Man Award winner...chosen the Pat Patricks Player of the Week on his way to 211 total tackles and 10 quarterback sacks...also forced six fumbles, made three interceptions, blocked five field goals and one punt...lettered in four sports, including football, baseball, basketball and track & field.
