COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech volleyball team wraps up its four-match road stretch this weekend, making the first visit in program history to St. Charles, Mo. and match-ups with new Ohio Valley Conference foe Lindenwood.
Tech and the Lions will square off at 6:00 p.m. CT Friday evening and meet again Saturday afternoon with a 2:00 p.m. tilt.

TEAM NOTES
The Golden Eagles fell in a pair of road matches at Tennessee State over the weekend, losing 3-0 and 3-1 to a potent Tiger attack. Tech sits at 2-2 on the year in OVC play, preparing to square off with Lindenwood for the first time in program history.
Freshman setter Jordan Karlen leads the league in total assists so far this season, racking up 491 in her rookie campaign. She ranks second in assists per set with a mark of 9.44.
Tech boasts three of the top-10 players ranked in hitting percentage in the OVC, led by senior middle blocker Taylor Dorsey and her .333 clip. Fellow middle Skylar Boom ranks eighth with a .272 efficiency while right side Morgan Gish is hitting .264 to rank tied for 10th.
Outside hitter Madolyn Isringhausen ranks sixth in the league with 0.42 service aces per set, compiling 25 so far on the year to rank third in overall aces. Her 2.95 kills per set rank seventh in the conference while her 174 total terminations rank her fifth.
Libero McKenna Young ranks eighth in the OVC with 3.51 digs per set and seventh with a total of 207. The sophomore is closing in on a career milestone as well, needing just 102 more digs to reach 1,000 in the purple and gold.
SCOUTING THE LIONS

Lindenwood is in its first season competing at the Division I level, joining the OVC in early 2022. The Lions earned a 3-0 sweep at SIUE on Tuesday, their second straight win in league play after splitting at Southern Indiana last weekend.
This weekend will mark Lindenwood's first home matches of the 2022 season after playing in three non-conference tournaments and starting OVC action with five straight on the road.
The Lions present a balanced attack, with five players averaging at least two kills per set on the year. Madilyn Dement leads the group with 2.58 per set while Taylor Gentemann adds 2.50 per set. Gentemann leads the OVC with 0.55 service aces per set
Libero Jessie Seidel ranks fourth in the OVC in digs per set, averaging 4.64. She also ranks third in the league with 0.44 aces per set. Rebecca Janke boasts 1.04 blocks per set, ranking fifth in the conference.

The Golden Eagles kick off their longest homestand of the season, returning to Cookeville for a Wednesday tilt against Morehead State at 6:00 p.m. CT. Tech will host SIUE later in the weekend with a Friday match at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday affair at noon.
