2019 (Sophomore): Dorsey competed in all 30 of the team’s matches, playing in 109 of 112 sets overall… led the team and the OVC with 23 solo blocks… ranked first for the Golden Eagles and second in the OVC with 1.11 blocks per set… paced Tech and finished third in the league with 121 total blocks… was first on the team and fourth in the conference with 98 block assists, the fourth-most in program history during the rally scoring era… finished second on the purple and gold with 307 kills, 2.82 kills per set, and 387.0 points and third with a hitting percentage of .269… posted her first career double-double against Belmont (Nov. 16), tallying 13 kills and career-highs of nine block assists and 11 total blocks… ripped off a career-high 20 kills with a .324 hitting percentage, five total blocks, and career-best 23.0 points against Middle Tennessee (Sept. 21)… blasted 17 kills at Morehead State (Nov. 8) and versus Southeast Missouri (Nov. 21)… hit a remarkable .542 with no attack errors and 13 kills at Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 9)… turned in a career-best two service aces against Oakland (Aug. 30)… compiled double-digit kills in 18 matches and at least 15 kills four times… racked up five or blocks 10 times and extended her streak of consecutive matches with at least one block to 49 after recording at least one in each of the team’s 30 tilts… hit .300 or better 13 times on the year.
2018 (Freshman): Dorsey played in 29 of Tech’s 30 matches, appearing in 104 of 118 sets overall… ranked second on the team with 71 block assists, 78 total blocks, 0.75 blocks per set, and a .223 hitting percentage… finished fourth on the Golden Eagles with 188 kills and 230.5 points and fifth on the team with 1.81 kills per set… made her collegiate debut with 10 kills and a block assist against Fairleigh Dickinson (Aug. 24)… registered a season-high 14 kills while hitting .478 with four block assists and 16.0 points against Chattanooga (Sept. 4)… piled up a season-high eight total blocks at Jacksonville State (Oct. 2) and again with a season-high eight block assists against Eastern Illinois (Oct. 13)… hit an other-worldly .611 with 11 kills and no attack errors at Tennessee State (Nov. 2)… tallied 10 or more kills in seven matches… totaled five or more total blocks in six tilts and posted at least one block in all but three matches, including each of the final 19 on the year… put up a hitting percentage of .300 or better 10 times on the year.
High School: Dorsey was a two-year letterwinner as an outside hitter and middle blocker for head coach Heather Harris at Hoover High School in Hoover, Ala.… played primarily on the club circuit at Southern Performance, where she helped to win an AAU National Gold championship in the 17U division in 2017… named an AVCA Phenom in 2016… also played beach volleyball for Southern Performance.
