In 2015 (Junior): Anderson saw 114 sets over 30 matches... set a career-high 61 assists and 22 digs at UT Martin (11/13)... recorded a career-best five service aces versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff (9/11)...named the OVC Setter of the Week on two different occasions...recorded 15 double-doubles on the season...dished out 1,087 assists on the season, recorded 307 digs, and served out 28 service aces.. averaged 9.54 assists and 2.69 digs per set.
In 2014 (Sophomore): Anderson started every match for the Golden Eagles in 2014, serving as the only setter…recorded a season-high 19 digs against Jacksonville State (11/11)…set a career-high 55 assists against SIUE (09/27)…dished out 1,161 assists on the season, recorded 308 digs, and served out 27 service aces.
In 2013 (Freshman): Anderson played as setter in 31 sets and 11 matches before suffering a season-ending injury…set career records with 54 assists and 21 digs against Murray State (9/27)…earned another career-high three service aces versus Kennesaw State (9/13)…finished the season with three matches with double-digit digs recorded…named to the TTU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
High School: Anderson was a four-time West Suburban All-Conference Selection…recognized as a Top 50 Chicago Volleyball Player in 2011, and was on the USA PrepVolleyball Sophomore 79 Elite List in 2010… led her team to the AAU 16-Open National Championship and has racked up several All-Tournament honors throughout her career…four year-starter, Anderson helped her team to a 110-44 high school record, winning the West Suburban Gold Conference Championship four times, the Regional Championship during her sophomore and senior seasons, and the Sectional Championship in 2010…finished her high school career with 3,215 assists (20.8 per game) and 424 digs (2.75 per game)… member of the National Honor Society, a Hornet Scholar and a member of the Dean’s list for four years.

The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (7-21, 3-12 OVC) will close out the 2016-17 season with a contest at Southeast Missouri (6-23, 5-10 OVC) at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The Tennessee Tech women’s volleyball team (7-21, 3-12 OVC) fell to Jacksonville State (18-17, 6-9 OVC) in three sets. The Gamecocks claimed winning set scores of 25-14, 25-14, and 25-10.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (7-20, 3-11 OVC) gets right back into action on Tuesday, when the Golden Eagles travel to Jacksonville State (17-17, 5-9 OVC) for a 7 p.m. matchup in the Pete Mathews Coliseum.
Tech fell in three sets to in-state rival Belmont (14-11, 8-6 OVC) in Saturday evening’s matchup; the Bruins claiming winning set scores of 28-26, 25-18, and 25-15.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (7-19, 3-10 OVC) fell to in-state rival Tennessee State (15-14, 6-7 OVC) in three sets. The Tigers claimed set scores of 25-14, 25-10, and 25-17.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (7-18, 3-9 OVC) returns home to host their final regular season matches of the 2016 season. The Golden Eagles will play host to Tennessee State (14-14, 5-7 OVC) in a 7 p.m. matchup on Friday. Tech will then close out their home contests versus Belmont at 4 p.m. on Saturday for a special Senior Day match, where Golden Eagle seniors Alyssa Povey, Sharon Anderson, and Kennedy Wade will be honored before the contest begins.

It was surely a happy Homecoming for the Tennessee Tech volleyball team as they defeated conference opponent Eastern Illinois in a five-set (3-2) thriller at the Hooper Eblen Center Saturday evening. The Golden Eagles saw winning set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 23-25, and 18-16 over the Panthers.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team fell to the Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) in three sets on Friday night. The Cougars claimed winning set scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-23 over the Golden Eagles.

The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (6-15, 2-6 OVC) fell to Austin Peay (16-7, 7-1 OVC) in three sets in a Saturday midafternoon contest. The Governors saw winning set scores of 25-16, 25-22, and 25-20.

The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (6-13, 2-4 OVC) will hit the road this weekend for two matches. The Golden Eagles fell to Illinois State (5-5) 3-0 with the Redbirds taking winning set scores of 25-12, 25-13, and 25-13. Later that evening, Middle Tennessee defeated Tech 3-2 with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, and 7-25, and 15-7.

The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (4-3) split matches on day two of the Samford-UAB Challenge. The Golden Eagles opened up the day with a 3-0 victory over Northwestern State (4-5), while taking winning set scores of 26-24, 27-25, and 25-19. Tech then went on to fall to UAB (3-4) 3-0. The Tennessee Tech volleyball team took to the floor for their first full team practice on Wednesday where they started the day out with fitness testing before moving into the Hoop for practice on the court.
