Anderson claims adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week honors
After a solid showing over Tech’s two matches last week, senior Sharon Anderson has been named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week on October 10.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.—After a solid showing over Tech's two matches last week, senior Sharon Anderson has been named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week on October 10.
A native of Burr Ridge, Ill., Anderson earned her second adidas® OVC Setter of the Week honors, after she tallied 98 assists over eight sets, averaging 12.25 assists per set. Anderson led the Golden Eagles to a .193 hitting percentage on the weekend, while also tallying 23 digs and four blocks over the course of Tech's two matches.
She notched double-doubles in both games for the Golden Eagles with 52 assists and 13 digs versus Jacksonville State and 46 assists and 10 digs in the win over UT Martin, marking her 10th double-double on the year.

Offensive:
Ashley Slay, MB, Jr., 5-11, Nashville, Tenn. - Austin Peay
Slay recorded 37 kills over the two matches, including a career-best 22 at SIUE. It was the best kills total by a Govs hitter since 2014. She also notched her second double-double with 11 digs versus Cougars and added 2 services aces and give blocks to finish the match with 27.5 points. She opened the weekend with 15 kills and a .414 attack percentage at EIU.

Rombach became the nation's leader in total blocks (120) as she tallied 17 last week. She matched a career-best with nine at Tennessee Tech . She nearly had a double-double versus the Golden Eagles with 10 kills. Rombach recorded eight in the sweep over Southeast Missouri.

Clark recorded 24 kills, 10 digs and 15 blocks over Tennessee State's three matches. She had seven kills and two blocks in the win over Middle Tennessee. Against Morehead State, she notched a double-double with 12 kills and 10 blocks to go with seven kills. She finished the week with .340 hitting percentage.
