Golden Eagles Finish Second at Total Athlete Collegiate
Tennessee Tech women’s golf finishes second, with Chloe Griffith and Kaydi Rhodes landing in the top ten against a talented field in the Total Athlete Collegiate at Country.

XENIA, Ohio – Tennessee Tech women's golf finishes second, with Kaydi Rhodes, Chloe Griffith, and Kailey Lane landing in the top ten against a talented field at the Total Athlete Collegiate. The Golden Eagles were the only team with three individuals finishing in the Top 10.
The Golden Eagles (+34) finished 12 shots back of Youngstown State (+22) with scores of 295 (Round 1), 296 (Round 2), and 307 (Round 3). Tennessee Tech finished with the second-best scores on par fours, averaging 4.17 shots, just behind Youngstown State on those holes.
The Golden Eagles recorded the most pars (178) and the fourth-most birdies (26) in the tournament.
Rhodes finished tied for sixth at six over par after shooting 79 in the final round. She finished one shot back of her career best (221) with a total of 222. Rhodes sank two birdies during the final 18 holes today. Griffith made just one birdie today, but posted 11 pars to hold onto a Top 10 finish. Lane sank 13 pars, but did not make a birdie during a bumpy finish to the tournament.
Total Athlete Collegiate Notes
- Rhodes shot rounds of 76, 74, and 72 to finish tied for 6th (+6, 222)
- Griffith recorded rounds of 71, 76, and 76 to finish tied for 9th (+7)
- Lane recorded rounds of 74, 70, and 79 to finish tied for 9th (+7)
- Lexus Julian posted rounds of 74, 78, and 80 to tie for 21st (+16)
- Competing as an individual, Sydney Branson recorded rounds of 79, 74, 80 (+17) to tie for 24th.
- Lydia Baker shot 81, 76, and 81 to finish 34th (+22)
Griffith recorded seven birdies to lead the Golden Eagles in that category. She finished tied for fifth amongst the field in birdies for the event.
