Akia Harris claims Ohio Valley Conference adidas® co-Freshman of the Week accolades on Dec. 20
After a solid performance over Tech’s two games this past week, Akia Harris has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference adidas® co-Freshman of the Week.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.—After a solid performance over Tech's two games this past week, Akia Harris has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference adidas® co-Freshman of the Week.
Harris tallied 21 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists over the Golden Eagle's two contests. She shot 30.8 percent from the filed, 30 percent from the three-point range, and 33.3 percent from the free throw line. She came up just shy of a double-double versus SEC opponent Vanderbilt when she recorded 10 points and six boards. Harris also scored in double figures at IUPUI when she totaled 11 points while dishing out five assists.
