Bio
In 2016-17 (Freshman): Harris had a freshman season that was one for the record books...she became the fifth Tech women's basketball player in history to record a triple-double, recording the 10th triple-double ever in program history...she reached the feat on Jan. 7, 2017 when she tallied 19 points (career-high), 12 assists (career-high), and 10 rebounds (career-high) in Tech's 72-54 victory over Murray State...She saw action in all 30 of the Golden Eagle's games, starting in 29 of the contests...scored in double-figures for 13 of the 30 contests, including two 10+ assist games...she ended her freshman season averaging 30.1 minutes, 8.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per contest...totaled a team-best 121 assists...shot 32 percent from the field, 27.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 69.8 percent from the charity stripe...totaled a team-high 41 steals...saw a career-best 45 minutes versus Austin Peay on Jan. 5, 2017...three-times named OVC Freshman of the week.
High School: Harris joins the Golden Eagle family from Chattanooga, Tenn...Played her senior year at Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, after previously attending the Girls Preparatory School (GPS) for her eighth grade to junior seasons...Started at point guard her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons on the GPS Bruisers team....Averaged 19 points and four assists per game, and led the city of Chattanooga in steals, averaging 4.9 per game in 2014...She tallied 1,075 career points and scored a season-high 35 points against Northwest Whitefield in November of 2014...Led her team to a state championship, and was named to the All-State team three times...Harris was ranked 10th on the Rick Bolus Tennessee players list as a sophomore and was selected by the Chattanooga Times-Free Press as first-team Best of Preps her freshman and sophomore seasons...Participated in AAU basketball playing for Team Elite (Atlanta, Ga.) and TN Xtrema...Helped her AAU teams to reach numerous national championship games, including an AAU 12U National Champion Runner-up in 2011, AAU 13U National Championship in 2012, and an AAU Disney Showcase National Championship in 2013 and 2014.

But a surge in the second half allowed the Golden Eagles to rally and take the game into an extra session. However, Lipscomb's Loren Cagle hit a layup with two seconds remaining in overtime. Tech had the ball one last time, and Treyvonna Brooks attempted a last-ditch 3-pointer to win the game, but the shot was no good with the Bison taking a 71-69 victory.
