Following a phenomenal performance during Tech’s game versus East Tennessee State, Anacia Wilkinson has been named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week on Dec. 13.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.—Following a phenomenal performance during Tech's game versus East Tennessee State, Anacia Wilkinson has been named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week on Dec. 13.

Alexus Cooper, G • R-Sr., 5-8 • Rocky Mount, N.C. • Eastern Kentucky
Cooper averaged 20.5 points while shooting 53.8 percent from the floor and 52.9 percent from beyond the arc. She had 19 points versus Akron and followed that up with a career-best 22 points against Ohio Valley. Against OVU, She was 4-for-6 from three-point range and 9-for-12 from the floor.

Jones nearly recorded a double-double in her Tennessee State debut. She had 15 points and nine boards in the overtime victory at Lipscomb. She also recorded four steals, two assists and one block.

Anacia Wilkinson, F • R-Fr., 6-2 • Humble, Texas • Tennessee Tech
Wilkinson recorded her first double-double of the season with 16 points and 13 rebounds against East Tennessee State. She shot 70 percent from the floor and went 2-for-5 from the line. She also had two assists and one steal.
