COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech tennis team is set to host its home opener on Saturday morning, as the squad is slated to take on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits at 12p.m. CST, which is an hour later than the original start time due to weather conditions.
Last season, Tech boasted a 3-1 home court record. However, this marks the first non-conference game Tech has held since February of 2010, when the Golden Eagles topped Georgia State, 5-2.
This is the first time that the Golden Eagles have played South Dakota State. This also marks the first time Tech has played a Summit League opponent.
