Zach Bailey has been a constant force on the Golden Eagle basketball team since joining the squad in 2008. A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Zach played both volleyball and basketball in high school before coming to TTU. His numbers have improved over the years, but the aspect of his game that has remained consistent is his leadership. As one of the veteran players on the team, Zach has the role of the vocal leader of the Golden Eagles. He led the team last season in free through percentage, hitting over 82 percent of his attempts. Zach led the Golden Eagles in points in three crucial Ohio Valley Conference road games last year: at Eastern Kentucky (15), at Austin Peay (16) and at Southeast Missouri (23).
