In 2009 (Freshman): Jessica played in 39 games, starting 35 of those at second base...in just her third career at-bat, she hit her first home run, a grand slam at Southeast Missouri (3/28)...drew three walks on the year and crossed home plate three times....committed just six errors in 125 fielding attempts...did not commit an error in 16 fielding attempts during the OVC Tournament...earned a spot on the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

High School: Jessica was a four sport athlete at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball while running cross-country...in her senior season, earned several awards including: all-district team, first team all-conference, all-area co-player of the year, conference MVP and first team all-area for softball...that year, she had a batting average of .417 with a .667 slugging percentage...in the circle, she racked up 194 strikeouts while allowing only 19 walks and holding batters to a .192 batting average.
