The young wide receiver caught his first career touchdown on Nov. 17, at Austin Peay last season... However, not a first for Gannaway, he made his third and fourth consecutive appearances on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll last year as well.

AT TECH (In 2012): As a sophomore, Gannaway made appearances in nine of the 11 games for the Golden Eagles... pulled in 5 receptions for 62 yards, including his first career touchdown on a 20-yard pass from Darian Stone on Nov. 17, at Austin Peay.

(In 2011): Saw action in four games as a true freshman...tallied one reception against SEMO on Sept. 24 for 15 yards... has made two appearances on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

BEFORE TECH: Neil was a three-sport athlete, an Honor student and a two-year starter on the football team at Vestavia Hills High School. As a senior, he was named to the Birmingham News All-South/Hoover Football Team when he tied for the team lead with 12 touchdown catches for 1,088 receiving yards, averaging 21 yards per catch. He was a 2010 Regions Athlete of the Year nominee and was a Thompson Reynolds Scholar-Athlete.

PERSONAL: The son of Sam and Sandy Gannaway...birthdate is February 9, 1993...full name is Neil Chandler Gannaway...majoring in basic business.
