2017 (Junior): Garza started all 62 games for Tech at shortstop, compiling a .293 batting average… finished the year with 70 hits, 50 runs scored, and 32 RBI… racked up 12 doubles, a triple and two home runs while slugging .377… drew 32 walks to rank second on the team and finish with a .382 on base percentage… finished a perfect 10-for-10 on stolen base attempts… made just five errors all season to post a .980 fielding percentage, one of the best marks by a shortstop in program history… drove in a season-high three runs at Southern Illinois (Apr. 23)… tallied season-highs of three hits six times and three runs scored five times… tied a single-game program record with four walks at Eastern Kentucky (May 12)… posted a 13-game hitting streak starting with a contest against Eastern Illinois (Mar. 31) and ending after the first game of a doubleheader at Southern Illinois (Apr. 22), one of six Tech players with a double-digit streak on the year… completed the year with 18 multi-hit games and turned in multiple RBI in eight games.

2016 (Sophomore): Garza played in and started all 55 games at shortstop in his first season as a Golden Eagle… completed the year batting .295 with 62 hits, 35 runs scored and 38 RBI… ranked second on the team with 14 doubles, contributing to a .471 slugging percentage… led Tech with four triples and also added five home runs… finished 7-for-10 on stolen base attempts, ranking second on the team… led the team with 126 assists… tied with teammate Kevin Strohschein to break the school record for hits in a single game with six at Alabama A&M (Apr. 5)… drove in a season-high five RBI and smacked one of the team’s program-record eight grand slams for the season in the same contest… scored a season-best three runs in back-to-back contest at SIUE (Mar. 26) and against Kennesaw State (Mar. 30)… also drew a season-high three walks versus Kennesaw State… tallied 14 multi-hit performances and posted multiple RBI in 10 games… finished as one of four players on the team to post a double-digit hitting streak on the year, a 10-game streak spanning contests at SIUE (Mar. 26) to versus Alabama A&M (Apr. 12).

2015 (R-Freshman – Edmonds CC): Garza played in 44 games as a redshirt freshman… put together a .302 batting average behind 42 hits… tallied 33 runs scored, 22 RBI, 10 doubles, three triples, six home runs and 18 stolen bases on 21 attempts while slugging .547 and posting a .418 on base percentage… scored a season-high four runs at Mt. Hood CC (Feb. 28)… posted 10 multi-hit efforts while driving in multiple runs in six games… scored multiple times in six contests… helped Edmonds CC to its second straight Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) North Region title.

2014 (Freshman – Edmonds CC): Garza sat out the 2014 season as a redshirt due to injury.

High School: Garza was an 11-time letterwinner at Othello High School, playing baseball, basketball and football… was a three-year quarterback under head coach Rodger Hoell… spent four years as a guard on the basketball team for head coach Pete Pattatuchi… earned four letters as a shortstop playing for head coach Larry Gonzalez… named All-Area First Team and All-State as a quarterback… also took home Washington Athlete of the Week for football and was named a Wendy’s High School Heisman Award winner… collected All-Area First Team honors in basketball… named both All-Area and All-State as a shortstop… honored as the baseball team’s MVP three times.
