Wilson addresses concerns of college sports wagering in national publication

Wilson is the featured professional in an article in the current
edition of College Athletics and the Law,
published by Jossey-Bass/Wiley, a monthly publication providing
advice and direction for college athletics administrators.
The article is an interview with Wilson about the dangers and
complications surrounding wagering on college athletics.
Recent studies show betting on intercollegiate athletics has
become increasingly more accepted and prevalent. Wilson addressed
myths such as: Betting is harmless and victimless; Sports wagering
isn't happening on my campus; and People only bet on major
games.
Wilson advises that collegiate athletics departments need sound policies and procedures to prohibit sports wagering, in addition to education programming for student-athletes, coaches and staff.
