Area Honor students invited Feb. 21 for annual Academic Excellence event
Tennessee Tech will host its annual "Academic Excellence" Night on Thursday, Feb. 21, and all area elementary Honor Students are invited to attend the game as guests of the Golden Eagles.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech will host its annual "Academic
Excellence" Night on Thursday, Feb. 21, and all area elementary
Honor Students are invited to attend the game as guests of the
Golden Eagles.
Vouchers are being distributed this week at all area schools,
admitting the Honor Students into the game for the men's basketball
game against the UT Martin Skyhawks. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. and doors
to Eblen Center will open at 6 p.m.
All students are invited to participate in a pregame event on the
court, forming a tunnel that the Golden Eagles will run through to
greet the students and the crowd prior to the contest. At halftime,
all of Tennessee Tech's student-athletes who made the Fall semester
Honor Roll will be introduced.
