Fall semester finds 192 on TTU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll; 45 perfect
Tennessee Tech’s student-athletes have closed the textbooks on another successful semester in the classroom with 192 names on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, including 45 with perfect 4.0 grades.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech’s
student-athletes have closed the textbooks on another successful
semester in the classroom. The Athletic Director’s Honor Roll
for the 2011 fall semester features 192 names of students in
athletics who achieved grades of 3.0 or higher for the
semester.
The exclusive Gold Club, recognizing those students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, had 45 honorees.
“It’s remarkable that our student-athletes have achieved this high level of success for so many semesters,” said Mark Wilson, TTU Director of Athletics. “The Honor Roll is just a small way that we can recognize and congratulate these young men and women.
"These impressive numbers are a tribute to our student-athletes, our coaches and our staff for making academics such a high priority,” he said. “Not only are these results something to be proud of, it’s especially gratifying that it happens on a consistent basis.”
