Kim Nash began working in the Tennessee Tech Athletics Department in 2004 from across campus in Photo Services. She holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Athletics Director. In her role, in addition to providing assistance to Director of Athletics Mark Wilson, she also handles numerous other tasks including all game contracts and additional financial responsibilities.
A native of nearby Baxter, Tenn., she attended Upperman High School before enrolling at Tennessee Tech to study education and business. In 1996, she took a position in Photo Services, a post she held until joining Athletics.
Among her job responsibilities are working at athletics events in a variety of roles, including home football and basketball games and the Bobby Nichols Scramble. She also coordinates several special events for the A.D., and prepares the Athletics Annual Report and the Institutional Effectiveness report.
Besides time spent on the job, Kim also puts in numerous hours as a volunteer for several community activities.
Kim and her husband, Perry, have been married 35 years and have two grown children, Emily and Daniel. They are the proud grandparents of five -- Jordan, Caleb, Allie Grace, Lily and Haleu -- and are expecting their sixth grandchild in January 2016.
