Adrienne Wilson is in her first year at Tennessee Tech, joiningthe Sports Medicine staff in October 2009 after earning hermaster's degree at the University of New Mexico.
A native of San Diego, Calif., Wilson received herbachelor’s degree at the University of North Dakota, andbrings a wide range of experiences to the Tech staff, ranging fromhigh school and college athletics to professional soccer andinternational competition at the ESPN Winter X Games.
As an undergraduate, Wilson was an athletic training student atNorth Dakota, where she received her bachelor’s degrees inPsychology and Athletic Training. She also held an internship withthe Grand Forks, N.D., high schools for several sports includingwrestling, ice hockey, basketball and soccer.
She took a graduate assistant position at the University of NewMexico, earning her master’s degree in Sports Administration.She was the primary athletic trainer for the softball, men’stennis and women’s tennis teams while at UNM.
In 2008, she gained additional experience with two temporarypositions. She was on the medical staff at the ESPN Winter X Gamesin 2008, providing services for an international field of extremesport athletes, and later served an administrative internship withthe Chicago Red Stars women’s professional soccer team.
