the season and that has fueled all of us to work hard in the off
season! We will be working hard until school gets out May 6th! Hope
to see you guys around sometime! May God Bless you all! :)

TTU fans,
Hope you all are being careful on the roads, but at the same time enjoying the snow. I think we brought the snow from Iowa to Cookeville. We had a very interesting weekend. We flew to Iowa Friday morning at 630 in the morning. When we got there, the weather was perfect. It was actually a little warm to be winter up there. However, on Saturday morning the snow started to fall. There was a blizzard warning in Iowa. It was pretty crazy. So before the game on Saturday, Coach decided to drive back instead of fly because she knew that our flight would be delayed. So we drove back to Cookeville on a charter bus and it took us 17 hours. We watched like four movies and slept to keep us occupied. J haha Yet, this trip was all worth it. We beat a very good team, Drake, at the buzzer to put us 6-2. It was an awesome game. We fought for 40 mins and Brittany Darling made the game winning basket for us. J So despite the blizzard and the long bus trip back, we survived and brought the "W" (and the snow) back to Cookeville. Our next two games are at home, Sunday the 19th and Tuesday the 21st. Hope to see you guys there. J These will be great OVC games!

Hey Tech Fans,
We hope you guys had a good weekend! We are so excited we beat SEMO on Saturday. It was an intense game and very exciting! Tacarra made an awesome pass so that I (Kylie) would hit the game winning shot. Everyone asked me “Were you nervous?” To be honest, I did not get nervous until AFTER I hit the shot. After I hit the shot I started to shake. It was awesome to watch everyone’s reaction on film after the shot went in! The most important thing is we won and protected out home court! We had a day off on Sunday and we got to play in the snow. It was a lot of fun. In Alabama we do not get snow like this, so it was a new experience to get to build a mini snow man. We started yesterday preparing for this week’s road games. We play Eastern Kentucky on Thursday and then travel to Morehead on Saturday. We are preparing very hard to get these two wins on the road. We have eight more games left and it is very important to not let any games slip away from us. It is crazy how fast the season as flown by already. Hope to see some of you guys this week and hope everyone has a great week and weekend! May God Bless you!

Hey Tech Fans,
Hope everyone has had a good week! We had a tough loss on Saturday against Tennessee State, but we have bounced back this week and worked really hard to learn from our mistakes and to prepare for Eastern Illinois tonight at five thirty! We are really excited to defend our home court. We played EIU in a close game last time we played them in the beginning of January at their home court. We are prepared and very excited for the game tonight and hope to redeem ourselves and protect our home court, once again. We also play SEMO on Saturday and have also prepared for them this week. Our goal this week is to go 2-0. I hope to see you guys in the stands tonight! We really appreciate all the support we have had at our past home games. It really means a lot! Thanks so much! May God Bless you and your families! Have a great weekend and be careful with all the snow they are calling for!

Hey Tech fans!
Hope you guys had a good week and day off for Martin Luther King
Day! We have our first day of classes today, and we are excited to
start a new semester at Tech. Our freshman year has gone so fast,
already! We only have twelve regular season games left this season,
and we start our twelve game streak off at home on Thursday with
Austin Peay and Saturday with Tennessee State. Both of these games
are very important for our team. Like Coach Messer says, we need to
protect our home court! We have been working really hard lately and
learning from each game and each practice. We have high hopes for
the rest of the season. We hope to see you guys Thursday night at
5:30!

Hey fans! It has been a while since we have blogged. A lot of
things have happened since we wrote so here is the update! We have
played many games and the holidays have passed. Christmas was
great! :) We got to go home for a few days and spend time with
family and friends. It was awesome being home but we had to get
back to Cookeville to start preparing for conference play! :) We
cannot believe that half of our freshman year is already over. This
season is flying by so fast. Conference play has now begun and we
are right in the middle of the pack. We have lost some games we
should have won, but we have learned from our mistakes, and we are
moving forward to the next practice and/or game. Our first
conference road trip was to Missouri then to Illinois. It was very
cold up north and snow was on the ground. Then we came back to
Cookeville to play Morehead and Eastern Kentucky, and we had a snow
storm here. We have never seen so much snow. It was a neat
experience!
Last Saturday we had a huge win against Eastern Kentucky. They
were 5-0 in the conference. It was a win we had prepared very hard
for. We have a big week this week. We go to UT-Martin then we head
to Murray St. We are working hard to prepare for the road trip!
I hope you all had Happy Holidays, and it was awesome to get back
home last week to see our fans :) We hope to see you all next week
as well. We play Thursday, the 21st and Saturday, the 23rd! Thanks
so much for all your support! We love you guys!

Hey tech fans! We hope everyone has had a good past two weeks.
We are now 4-4. We played Jacksonville State last Saturday, the
6th. It was a very important game to win. It was our first
conference game on the road. We stepped up to the challenge and
pulled out the win 68-59. We were all very excited to get the win,
but we know we still have to keep working hard to get better and
better each game. We then had a whole week to prepare for our last
game against SIU, which was on Saturday. They are a very good team,
and we prepared for them very hard last week. Our hard work paid
off and we won by three, 59-56.We feel like we all played extremely
hard and came up with the win. Both of these wins were very
important to us. We won our first conference game and we protected
our home court, which are two of our goals for this season. We are
going to continue to work hard this week to prepare for Belmont on
Saturday. We also have finals this week, and we are all studying to
end our first semester on a good note. Hope everyone will come out
and support us against Belmont Saturday. May God Bless you!

Hey fans!! It felt so good to play at home yesterday and get a
win. We finally got to be back on our home floor after a 5 game
road trip. Our road trip taught us so much, and we learned a lot
about each other throughout each game. These past games helped us
win against Lipscomb tonight on our home court. We plan to defend
our home court all season long!!! Thanks so much for coming to
support us. You all are truly our 6th man! It was an exciting win
tonight, and now we are going to prepare for our first conference
game verse Jacksonville St. on Saturday. We are excited for
conference play!
Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed the Holiday.
We are so glad that we got to see you all tonight! Thanks for your
support!! Our next home game is Dec 12th. See you soon!

Heyy Golden Eagle Fans! This is Kellie and Kylie Cook. Tonight
was a great start to our season!! We beat Tennessee Wesleyan 97 to
51. It was a great win, but we still have so much to learn as a
team. We are definitely not satisfied. Next up is Alabama. We are
so excited to travel to Texas and play great competition. This
weekend and week we are going to learn from our mistakes from this
past game and continue to take steps forward each day. Our
non-conference schedule is challenging, but we are up for the
challenge. Our first games will prepare us well for our OVC
conference. We are so excited to be here at Tech and play for this
great program and team! Thanks for all your support. Follow us
online for the next couple of weeks, and we will be back at home on
November 30 against Lipscomb. Hope to see you there!
