2022 (Junior): Boom competed in all 31 of the team’s matches, playing in 116 of 118 sets overall… led Tech and finished third in the OVC with 20 solo blocks… ranked second on the team and ninth in the OVC with 108 total blocks and 88 block assists… ended the year second on the team and 11th in the conference with 0.93 blocks per set… concluded the season fourth on the team with 228 kills, 1.97 kills per set, 292.0 points, and 2.52 points per set… ranked third on the team with an attack percentage of .254… fired a season-high 15 kills three times, including back-to-back matches against Bradley (Sept. 10) and at Ohio (Sept. 10)… named MVP of the Bobcat Invitational (Sept. 9-10) after the performance, including a season-high 17.0 points at Ohio (Sept. 10)… also recorded 15 kills at Southeast Missouri (Oct. 22) while hitting .444… piled up a season-high 10 total rejections, all block assists, at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 4) to mark the third most block assists in a four-set match in the rally-scoring era… hit an astounding .588 with 10 kills against SIUE (Oct. 14)… also hit .545 with 12 terminations in the second match against the Cougars (Oct. 15)… tallied double-digit kills seven times… turned in at least one block in 26 of 31 matches… recorded five or more blocks seven times and recorded multiple rejections in each of the final 13 matches of the year… finished the season ranked tied for sixth in program history with a career blocks per set rate of 0.88.

2019 (Freshman): Boom competed in 12 of Tech’s 30 matches, playing in 27 of 112 sets overall… totaled 30 kills, eight total blocks, six block assists, two solo blocks, and 35.0 points… made her collegiate debut with one dig at No. 24 Louisville (Sept. 6)… fired off a season-high 11 kills with a block assist versus Southeast Missouri (Nov. 21) in the OVC Tournament… racked up a season-best five block assists with four kills against Belmont (Nov. 16).

High School: Boom lettered as a middle blocker for head coach Laura Bowling at Eastern High School in Louisville, Ky.… racked up 381 kills, 136 total blocks, 96 solo blocks, and 22 service aces as a senior… named to the All-State Second Team as a senior and was All-State Honorable Mention as a junior… earned the team’s Eastern Eagle Award and was a three-time, Team Offensive MVP.
