2020-21 (Sophomore): Gish competed in 15 of the team’s 16 matches, appearing in 53 of 61 sets overall… ranked third on the team with 39 total blocks, 37 block assists, and 0.74 blocks per set… totaled 69 kills, 13 digs, and 89.5 points… racked up a career-high 13 kills with four total blocks and 15.0 points against Morehead State (Mar. 7)… tied her career-high with a season-best five digs at Jacksonville State (Mar. 1)… tallied a career-high six block assists and total blocks against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 14), at Murray State (Mar. 22), and against Belmont (Mar. 29)… posted five or more blocks in four matches.

MARTIN, Tenn. – Spectacular showings from both the outsides and defense led the Tennessee Tech volleyball team back from a two-set deficit Saturday afternoon, as the Golden Eagles rallied to take down in-state rival UT Martin in Ohio Valley Conference action, 3-2 (21-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-13).
MARTIN, Tenn. – In a match-up between the top two blocking squads in the Ohio Valley Conference, it was UT Martin coming out on top Friday evening, as the Skyhawks defeated the Tennessee Tech volleyball team 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-22).
MOREHEAD, Ky. – It was a tremendous defensive battle for the Tennessee Tech volleyball team on Wednesday night as the Golden Eagles put up a program-record 22 total blocks, edging the previous mark of 21.5 set against Southeast Missouri on Oct. 12, 2001. The effort helped lead Tech to a win in the opening set, but Morehead State eked out the second and third stanzas before pulling away in the fourth and deciding set to give the host Eagles a 3-1 victory at Johnson Arena. The Golden Eagles (11-12, 6-6 Ohio Valley Conference) return to action this weekend with a visit to UT Martin. Friday’s match starts at 5 p.m., followed by an 11 a.m. matinee on Saturday.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – After a tough first set, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team roared back to even Friday’s match against Western Carolina on Friday, but the Catamounts edged out the next two sets to take a 3-1 victory in the first day of the Bama Bash Invitational. The Golden Eagles (5-4) continue tournament play on Saturday as they take on Houston at 1 p.m. and host Alabama at 6 p.m.

The purple and gold split a pair of five-set matches in its annual home tournament, claiming a 3-2 (23-25, 25-18, 29-27, 21-25, 15-8) victory over South Alabama in morning action. The Golden Eagles dropped a heartbreaker to Valparaiso in evening competition, falling to the Beacons 3-2 (23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-15, 18-16).
