In 2016 (Junior): Johnson competed in 26 matches, including four starts...recorded 148 kills (2.11 per set), 41 digs, and 12 blocks over 70 sets...ended the season with a .067 attacking percentage and a .947 reception percentage (three errors on 57 attempts)...set a career-high 21 kills at UAB on August 27...five-times led the Golden Eagles in kills...recorded double-digit kills in six matches.
In 2015 (Sophomore): Johnson saw 84 sets over 26 matches... set a career-high 17 kills in OVC Tournament play against Eastern Illinois (11/19)... tallied season-high eight digs at Memphis (9/12)... tallied 162 points, 152 kills, 50 digs, and 16 blocks on the season... averaged 1.81 kills per set... averaged a .125 hitting percentage.
In 2014 (Freshman): Johnson saw action in 89 sets over 30 matches…totaled in 36 digs and 125 kills…set a season-high 14 kills against Norfolk St. (09/05)…and scored 142.5 points.

The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (7-20, 3-11 OVC) gets right back into action on Tuesday, when the Golden Eagles travel to Jacksonville State (17-17, 5-9 OVC) for a 7 p.m. matchup in the Pete Mathews Coliseum.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (7-18, 3-9 OVC) returns home to host their final regular season matches of the 2016 season. The Golden Eagles will play host to Tennessee State (14-14, 5-7 OVC) in a 7 p.m. matchup on Friday. Tech will then close out their home contests versus Belmont at 4 p.m. on Saturday for a special Senior Day match, where Golden Eagle seniors Alyssa Povey, Sharon Anderson, and Kennedy Wade will be honored before the contest begins.

The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (4-3) split matches on day two of the Samford-UAB Challenge. The Golden Eagles opened up the day with a 3-0 victory over Northwestern State (4-5), while taking winning set scores of 26-24, 27-25, and 25-19. Tech then went on to fall to UAB (3-4) 3-0. The Blazers saw winning set scores of 25-23, 26-24, and 28-26.

With the first tournament of the 2016 season in the books, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team (3-0) ended the weekend on top winning all three of their matches to mark the best start a Purple and Gold squad has had since 2000, when the Golden Eagles opened with a 5-0 record.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team started their 2016 season off on a strong note, sweeping Charleston Southern 3-0 in day one of the Catamount Volleyball Classic.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team is halfway through preseason practices and the Golden Eagle squad is working hard to prepare for the upcoming year.
