Bio

AT UNION UNIVERSITY: Played two years for Coach Sydney Sturner at Union and saw a steady improvement to her statistics there. As a freshman, she posted a 5.10 ERA across 71 1/3 innings with 24 walks and 32 strikes. While she pitched in fewer innings, accumulating 52 1/3 in her sophomore campaign, her walk-to-strikeout ratio improved with 15 free passes to 30 strikeouts and posted a 3.48 ERA.

HIGH SCHOOL: Had a great career at nearby White County High School as she led the team to two district championships and was named first-team all-district as a junior and senior, District Pitcher of the Year as a junior and the District MVP as a senior ... after missing her sophomore season to the COVID-19 pandemic, she flourished. As a junior, she struck out 138 batters to 18 walks over 102 innings of work, collecting a 2.26 ERA. The numbers improved dramatically as a senior as she compiled a 0.99 ERA over 155 frames with 22 walks and 232 strikeouts.

CLUB EXPERIENCE: Played for MOJO and Atlanta Premier.

PERSONAL: Sister Kristen Farley played softball for three seasons at Cumberland ... the daughter of Mike and Kristy Abell.

ACADEMICS: Studying nursing.
