Tech to host 10th annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate Mar. 12-14 in Sevierville
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team returns to Sevierville, Tenn. to host the 10th annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club. Play begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday while teams compete on the River Course.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team returns to Sevierville, Tenn. to host the 10th annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club. Play begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday while teams compete on the River Course.

BOBBY NICHOLS INTERCOLLEGIATE: Mar. 12-14, 2023 – 54 holes (18 Sunday, 18 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 6,891-yard River Course at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn. Play will begin each day with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. CT.
GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Jackson Skeen, freshman Haden Maxwell, senior Bryce Beeler, freshman Anders Larson, and junior Mark McDearman. Competing as individuals for the purple and gold are sophomore Alexander Bassel, senior Chance Taylor, and junior Sean Anderson.
THE COMPETITION: The 14-team field consists of host Tennessee Tech, as well as Alabama A&M, Carson-Newman, Chicago State, Evansville, Findlay, Maryville College, North Georgia, Roane State CC, Southern Indiana, Tennessee State, UNI, UT Martin, and Walters State CC. West Virginia will also compete with individuals only.
THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH POLK BROWN: "It's always exciting to get back to Sevierville to host the BNI. This will be the 10th one we have done and we look forward to hosting once again. The guys have been hard at work since Florida and are eager to compete once again. This will begin the meat of our spring season, where we will be competing every other week until the OVC Championships. We have a great opportunity ahead of us and are ready to get after it."
