THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "The guys are really looking forward to competing in the first event of the year. Qualifying was very competitive, which will serve us well when we get under tournament conditions. True Blue is a great course to start the fall. It is a very scoreable course where the guys can shoot some great numbers. We can't wait to get started."
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Four of the team's top-five scorers from last season will see action in the season-opening tournament for the Golden Eagles, including a pair of sophomores, Brooks and Womack, that finished with nearly identical scoring averages to lead Tech a year ago.
