Youth basketball players invited guests at Saturday doubleheader
All area Youth basketball teams and players are invited to be special guests of the Golden Eagle basketball teams Saturday evening when Tech hosts an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader against Jacksonville State. Hoop Troop members are also invited to an afternoon meet-and-greet with the players.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- All area Youth basketball players and teams
are invited to be special guests of the Tennessee Tech basketball
teams Saturday evening when the Golden Eagles host an Ohio Valley
Conference doubleheader in Eblen Center against Jacksonville
State.
In addition to free admission for all youth players who wear their
youth team shirts to the arena, members of the Hoop Troop (visit Hoop Troop page) are also invited to
visit with players from both the men's and women's teams Saturday
afternoon in an exclusive meet-and-greet session in the Eagles Nest
of Eblen Center.
The Tech women open the day with a 5:30 p.m. tipoff against
Jacksonville State. The men's game against the Gamecocks is set for
7:30 p.m.
Youth teams from all area Youth basketball organizations will be
recognized at the game with a P.A. announcement, and will receive
free admission just by wearing their game shirts.
