Tech fans invited to "Music City Mingle" during OVC Basketball Tournament

Tennessee Tech fans attending the OVC Basketball Tournament are invited to attend the "Music City Mingle" events between sessions at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Nashville.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Ohio Valley Conference invites Tennessee Tech fans attending the 2012 Men's & Women's Basketball Championships in Nashville to attend the "Music City Mingle" event between the afternoon and evening sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The event will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel (315 4th Ave. North), one of two headquarters hotels for this year's championship. The hotel is located less than two blocks from Municipal Auditorium, the site of this years' OVC Championship.

Fans can enjoy live music, drink specials and camaraderie with fellow fans between the women's afternoon session and men's evening session on each of those days. The event will be held in Swanks Martini and Wine Bar inside the DoubleTree and runs from 4 to 6 p.m. each of those days.

Fans attending the OVC Tournament and the Music City Mingle are encouraged to follow the OVC through Facebook and Twitter for special giveaways and prizes during the events.

Jim "Fish" Michie will provide the musical entertainment on Wednesday, while Steve Williams will provide the music on Thursday and Friday.
