Start times for 2011-12 Golden Eagle basketball games announced

Tennessee Tech has announced the starting times for all Golden Eagle basketball games during the 2011-12 season, home and away. The season begins Monday with a women's exhibition game.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech has announced starting times for all Golden Eagle basketball games during the 2011-12 season, home and away. The season begins Monday with a women's exhibition game against Bryan College at 7 p.m.

All but one of Tech's home single games will tip off at 7 p.m., while game times for the four doubleheaders feature a women's tipoff at 5:30 p.m. and the men's game at 7:30 p.m. One men's Sunday contest features a 4 p.m. start time when the Golden Eagles host Wilberforce University on Nov. 27.

The road games for the women's and men's teams have a wide variety starting times.

A couple of OVC doubleheaders on the road have afternoon starting times. The twinbill at UT Martin on New Year's Eve begins with the women's game at 2 p.m. and the men's contest at 4 p.m. Likewise, the doubleheader at Jacksonville State on Feb. 4 has starting times of 2 and 4:30 p.m.
